When you’re feeling down, and you can’t look up, remember your cause and don’t give up. There is a place for solace and grace, to heal from the battles of everyday foes.
A place to restore and refresh the soul, to be still and quiet and feel the freshness of fall. A place in the mountains, as the sound of a river flows, a world of serenity to escape the city life, to regroup again and get back in this fight.
A time to reflect on all the ventures of the year, to plan and energize for new goals without fear. A time to regain reserved courage that hides deep within your heart, the courage you didn’t know you had, until your plans began to unravel and fall apart.
When times get tough and the world gives you a fight, don’t give up, not even if it’s night. The dawn is breaking, a new day is here, to rekindle your passion and pursue what you love so dear.
We all need a place to rest and restore, a place to prepare our hearts and minds for this relentless spiritual war. Some find it in the wood, in a cabin on a lake, others in the mountains with trails to wonder and escape, and some by the sea shore with the sound of the waves, but we all have a place to recharge and prepare, to hide from the world and all its cares.
So when you are ready to get back in the game, the fight will still be there, but you will not be the same. Your training is everything and it must be met. You still have some souls for which you shall invest, a strategy for new warriors who will take up your mantle, the ones who will regale your cause, to put you in remembrance of what matters most.
Do not forget how important you really are, in the eyes of so many that are inspired by your warrior’s heart. Pick up your feet and don’t look down, give yourself a word and lift up that frown, your life is not over despite all the scares that remain.
You still have a chance to make a difference in someone’s world, who are down and out with no courage or fight plan, but you have been prepared to train the next in line, they will need your courage and strategy for life.
Therefore, whenever you are down with the wind against your face, and the dark clouds are closing in to rain on your parade, remember your place and the training you have received. For you are a valiant warrior this world desperately needs.
Suit up in spirit and strengthen your heart, go forward in battle and know you’re not alone, for the One who carries you is still on the throne.
