Stay in the Fight

When the rounds get wild, and you just can’t seem to win. You defend with combinations, but your opponent counters with a grin. The fight seems like forever and your punches almost never land. The goal is to stay in the game and prepare your mighty right, a warrior is never beaten when he wills to stay in the fight.

The crowd is in your corner encouraging your every move, shouts of acclamation of all that faith can do. The minutes seem like hours, but your heart is tried and true. Remember who you are inside and outside the ring, you are a fighter who stands up for the weak, shelters the weary, brings a healing word to the wounded, goes the distance to inspire hope, and a servant to the fearful to stay in the fight.

Don’t give up even when you get knocked down, a righteous man may fall seven times, but truly rises again. Remember all who are watching, their hope of rising as well, when the bottom drops out, and at times when faith may fail, love is the ultimate prize, so stay in the fight.

The saying is true and we must not forget, it’s not how you start, but how you finish that wins the day. All these battles in life are brutal, as time and age contend. Our friends are a treasure, faithful until the end, and boxing is just a lesson on how to win in life. The more you climb in the ring, the better you learn how to fight. So lace up those gloves and go another round, today you shall learn once again, how to stay in the fight.
